Tommy Kim is the owner and inspector of Allsouth Home Inspections. Tommy is a native of the Atlanta area who has lived here his whole life, and one quintessential Southern value that has always been dear to him is the act of being a good neighbor. Tommy Kim has over 26 years of professional experience in the engineering trades and in real estate management. For 18 of those years, Tommy worked as a chief engineer taking care of real estate properties, where he built, maintained, and renovated numerous mechanical systems. Now as a professional home inspector, Tommy is trained to identify problem areas in a home that require immediate maintenance while also being adept at recognizing warning signs for future issues. Tommy takes great pride in the work he’s able to accomplish through his knowledge, love for helping others, and commitment to excellent customer service.
A High Level of Professionalism
- Tommy uses a moisture meter, carbon monoxide detector, and gas leak detector whenever necessary to identify issues that can impact a home’s safety or structural integrity
- The prospective buyer or seller of the home is given an opportunity to attend the inspection so that Tommy can point out critical details about the home’s condition—giving the client a better understanding through direct visual confirmation
- Clients are able to call Tommy at any time after the inspection to ask any remaining questions that need to be answered before a final buying decision can be made
When he’s not inspecting homes, some of Tommy’s hobbies include playing golf, fishing, boating, working on automobiles, and traveling.
